About Rowan Farren

Rowan is a young person from regional North Victoria, who has found his calling in advocacy and political representation, he is currently a student at the University of Melbourne pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialisation of Economics, and a Breadth focus of Policy and International Studies. Within his professional duties, he has fulfilled the role of Executive Assistant to the Director of Infrastructure within the Shepparton Council Electorate, additionally he fills the role of Project Coordinator and Youth Congress Member and Youth Representative, through the Office for Youth under the Youth and Veteran Affairs Portfolio as administered by MP Hon Natalie Suleyman. Previously he has fulfilled the role of Electorate Officer for Wendy Lovell.Within a volunteer capacity, he has filled in various student leadership roles, including on the student merger team for the dissolution of previous Public Schools in the pursuit of the formation of a new 21st Century facilities for a new Secondary College. Previously, he's volunteered role within a project headed by the Parliament of Victoria and SYN, on a Parliament Podcast Project targeted at informing Youth surrounding the parliamentary process. Rowan holds career aspirations to become an advocate and representative his local regional community.
