I’m the Founder and CEO of Clarizent, Inc, and help Japanese and international companies to develop deep and impactful innovation capabilities. Making innovation part of their DNA enables my clients to: • Accelerate the creation of bold new products, services, and business models • Reduce the risk of innovation investments whilst maximising the likelihood of success • Foster internal entrepreneurialism leading to dramatic improvements in customer service and operational efficiencies • Make better decisions, with a culture that values experimentation, learning, evidence, and prioritises outcomes over output • Drive long-term sustainable growth and insure against the risk of disruption • Raise employee engagement; staff retention, and attraction of new talent My career has been split across executive roles in a Fortune 100 company as well as extensive Big 4 consulting experience in several different industries. This unique blend of experience enables me to provide fresh perspectives and insight as an independent consultant, whilst having a first-hand understanding of the challenges faced running a large complex organisation and balancing growth, operational efficiency, and the needs of myriad stakeholders. I have lived in Japan for 18+ years, including one year of high school on an exchange scholarship. My childhood was split across Fiji, Samoa, and my native New Zealand. When not helping companies build the future, you can find me pursuing my quest to climb all of Japan’s “100 Famous Mountains”, running or cycling in the hills outside Tokyo.
