I help solve business problems with technology in the cloud. Having worked my way through operations, development, and management, I've seen the good and the bad of modern application development and delivery. I believe that security is a requirement, DevOps is a process (not a job title), and that we can use it to make things better for our customers and the engineers and teams that are building for those customers. Previously in my career, I've- Helped traders achieve financial success in the high-paced and rewarding environment of options trading - Been on the early-stage startup rollercoaster - Managed teams of developers - Supported some of the largest organisations in Australia to use AWS better - Provided technical direction for businesses and teams on AWS - Build ISV products on AWS I like learning and teaching. I think that to understand something, you need to teach it to someone else. It makes me happy to help someone understand a tricky concept or technology.
