About Roxana Flueras

I would like to highlight what I consider to be the milestones of my career. The offer received from the World Bank Office, to work as a Consultant for the Romanian Energy Efficiency Fund (F.R.E.E.) could not be refused. This position allowed me to be in direct contact with the public organizations, ministries and different agencies and also to deal with the variety of problems that involves direct contact. The time spent with F.R.E.E. represented for me an opportunity to understand the approach to business of a World Bank fund active in Romania mainly in the Energy field, as well as a chance to get in touch with the administration responsibilities. The Legal Consultant positions I have occupied in several big companies gave me the opportunity to deal with a variety of legal issues, to observe all the changes in legislation, to be able to take decisions in a short period of time, and last not least, to learn to apply my knowledge into practice successfully. I had a very good collaboration with the companies that I have worked for and I feel there was a mutual benefit for both parties involved in this collaboration. Nevertheless, I sincerely believe that the time spent in Martifer (in the renewables sector), the challenges encountered herein and most of all the people I am working with are the richest experience anyone could have gained or wished for: the thrill, the limited resources versus the unlimited possibilities, witnessing the impossible transforming into possible, the positive attitude are only a small part of my adventure in Martifer.
