About Roxanne Highfold

Working at the Central Land Council as the Senior Venture Development PBC officer supporting PBCs with economic development and support.Previously worked for the Central Australia Aboriginal Health Congress as an experienced junior Aboriginal health researcher in the Early Childhood research. Graduate of the Murra program of Melbourne Business School in 2023 and the Joanna Briggs Institute Clinical Fellowship in 2019.Previously spent two years filling the role of the Deputy Chair of the Arid Lands Environment Centre (ALEC). I helped establish and also convene the inclusion and diversity committee, formed with aims to improve the access and diversity of ALEC and its subsidiary programs such as the community gardens. I also volunteer on the weekends at the community gardens to promote social diversity and sense of community. I am currently half way through a dual degree, a Bachelor of Health Science/Masters in Nutrition with the intent to transfer to the Bachelor of Sports Science/Masters in Nutrition next year. My passions are eating well and exercising.But my most important hat I wear is being a mum and community member.
