I began working in the Oil & Gas industry in 1997 after I graduated Robert E. Lee High School in Midland, Texas. I worked for A2D Technologies as a digitizer for 5 years. Digitized well logs to convert paper log to digital log. Scanned large-scale documents such as well logs, maps and seismic sections. Data Entry. The company was bought out by a larger company. I began working contract with Preferred Personnel for ChevronTexaco. I worked on 2 merger projects. Chevron-Texaco and Chevron-Unocal. I merged all documents and constructed well files for the active records department. Transferred to the inactive records department. Entered all documents stored in boxes into a data base to make them accessible to all engineers, geologist, landsman, etc. Stored boxes until documents met retention and had documents shredded. After contract work ended I began working for Pogo Producing as a digitizer until I got a permanent position at Midland Roustabout Service, Inc. I did Accounts payable and receivable for almost 6 years. I recently got laid off in October of 2015 due to the Oil drop and began working contract with Applied Consultants for Pioneer Natural Resources as a document control specialist for 19 inspectors constructing job books for Operations manager. Contract work ended and I now have a permanent position at Basin Engine & Pump as an invoice Specialist.
