About Roxy Nielsen
I have been working with youth in a variety of disciplines for over 10 years. My passion for working with children stems from my personal experiences with teaching, mentoring, tutoring, coaching, counseling, and research, which has helped me to gain a well-rounded perspective for working with children of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Although my background is working with children I am open to working in a new setting. My energy, positive attitude, passion, and enthusiasm come together to drive me beyond the classroom at this point. Less time sitting at a desk and spending most of my time directly engaged with people would describe how I see myself at work. I’d like to spend everyday working alongside a diverse group of coworkers who value individual differences in addition to collaboration in a high energy multidisciplinary enterprise. Ultimately, it’s about contributing to making the world a better place.
