About Roxy Witham
I am currently a 3rd year neuroscience major with a minor in cellular and molecular developmental biology at the University of Colorado, Boulder. I plan on graduating in May of 2023 and ultimately pursuing a PhD in neuroscience or a related field. I am looking for upcoming research assistant internship opportunities for the summer of 2022. Last semester of fall 2021 I was a teaching assistant in the MCDB department for the phage genomics lab; this experience along with lab work performed in my research methods in neuroscience class revealed a true passion I have for medical research. I am currently an undergraduate researcher for the Banich Lab at CU. I love the lab environment of working alongside other scientists and mentors, and am very eager to continue learning what it takes to be a professional research assistant.
