About Roy Cottam

Managing Director at Intrique Investigations, Risk and Governance Advisory. Roy is an executive with over 25 year’s experience in Risk & Compliance Management, Anti- Corruption, Forensic Investigations, Training, Management Consulting & Fraud Prevention. He has extensive experience leading complex investigations at international, national and local levels. Roy has held a number of senior positions in the private sector, state, local government, policing and within the education sector. Roy is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia (GIA) and supports the Australian wide governance network by speaking at professional events and contributing to national training initiatives. Roy has worked closely with the NSW ICAC and NSW Ombudsman, together with a number of federal oversight agencies. Roy has a vast amount of both strategic and operational experience across a range of risk, governance and investigations areas of practice. Roy has a Masters degree in Leadership & Management (Risk Management), Graduate Certificates in Governance Practice, Health & Safety Management and a Certificate IV in Government Investigations.
