About Roy Francis

Although my background is primarily in telecommunications, I possess a diverse skill set that is transferable to various roles. With many years of experience in client and customer-facing positions, along with a background in sales, I have developed verbal and written communication skills. These abilities, combined with my analytical and problem-solving skills, enable me to excel in a wide range of roles and responsibilities. I am adept at building relationships, maintaining a customer-focused mindset, collaborating effectively with teams, and achieving results. Additionally, I am proficient in using technology to enhance performance and efficiency. As the business owner and managing member of 1 Number Service, I launched a hosted VoIP platform in 2020 which enables seamless unified communication across devices and locations. I oversaw the development and management of the platform, as well as the customer relationship and technical support aspects of the business until emigrating to the UK in July 2023. I have also been the business owner and managing member of RMF Communications since 2005 until 2023, a Network infrastructure solutions and communications provider, servicing many companies as well as outsourcing technical expertise and UC accreditation to organisations when required such as Siemens Telecommunications, Nashua Communications and Open Communications. I have certification in telecommunications technology as a technician and extensive expertise in telephony/PBX systems installation and commissioning. Prior to starting RMF Communications, I worked as a corporate account manager, a team leader, and a supervisor for Siemens Telecommunications, where I handled large projects for various clients in the education and hospitality sectors. I have also received multiple awards and recognitions for my outstanding performance and dedication. My mission is to provide innovative and reliable communication solutions that meet the needs and expectations of my clients.
