To summarize my back ground and skills, I am a former ISO Cat certified vibration analyst thru The Vibration Institute and Technical Associates of Charlotte, NC. My ASNT Cat certification still stands with TA, although most employers prefer ISO certification. I am currently a Level I certified Infrared Thermographer thru The Infrared Training Center (ITC). I am Level I certified thru SDT in Airborn Ultrasound. I attended an Oil Analysis class several years ago given by Noria. I currently perform field balancing using an Emerson (CSI) 2130 data collector on overhung and centerhung fan rotors. I have been a millwright for 30 years setting and aligning equipment using transits,"pea shooters" tripod levels, dial indicators, and laser alignment systems (Emerson (CSI), Rotalign). I've been involved in alignment and vibration training at my current and former place of employment. I am a former certified tube, pipe and structural steel welder.
