About Roy Roustom

Roy is a licensed CPA by the New Hampshire Board of Accountancy and holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus in Financial Assets Management. He has over 15 years of experience in developing countries focused on the MENA region (Lebanon, UAE, Kuwait, Iraq, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, etc.) as well as in Africa (Tanzania, Ghana, Uganda) and Mauritius. Roy started his career in 2008 with Deloitte - Beirut office in the Audit & Assurance line, and last until 2017 before he moved to join an international Group as a Budgeting and Financial Control Manager. In March 2020, Roy rejoined Deloitte - Dubai office as an Audit Manager to get exposed to bigger markets and excel in his skills then moved in June 2021 to AmSpec Group (Dubai Office) as a Regional Financial Controller for the Middle East to become after a year the Managing Director for the Middle East. Roy has strong managerial skills, the ability to multitask and work under pressure, has sound skills in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning & analysis, risk management, financial audit and control, financial due diligence, transfer pricing, legal structure, cash-flow management, financial policies and procedures, data analytics and IFRS. Roy's experience is spread over the insurance, retail, manufacturing, automotive, media, technology, FMCG, Oil & Energy, and financial institution industries. Roy is trilingual: Arabic (native), English, and French.
