Mr. Ruiz is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and is currently the project manager for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Logistics Supply Chain Management System (LSCMS) Asset Tracking Service (ATS) and Bus & Ambulance. Mr. Ruiz has managed multiple 24x7 Surge Events and deployed strike teams to field sites designated by FEMA. Mr. Ruiz is proficient in the following areas: Program Management, DHS System Life Cycle, Strategic Planning, Business Process Re-engineering, Quality Management, and Performance Management. In his previous role within DHS Customs Border and Protection (CBP) and Office of Information and Technology (OIT), he acted on behalf of the Platform Engineering Branch Director while supporting CBP’s Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Single-Sign-On (SSO), and EDME’s Change Control Board (CCB).
