About Roy Siu

As a Systems Engineer at Mott MacDonald, I apply my electrical engineering background and my passion for software development to automate and optimize rail systems. I have two years of experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) in the rail/transport industry, working on both consulting and client-side operations. Some of my achievements include leading the development of the project-wide system breakdown structure with complex stakeholders, developing over 20 scripts to automate data extraction, modelling, and data analytics with Python, and generating requirements traceability matrices to track model elements with developed requirements. I have a bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering from The University of Queensland, where I learned the fundamentals of automation, systems engineering process, and software engineering. I am always eager to learn new skills and tools to enhance my performance and solve challenging problems.
