I have been working in warehouses for more than 10 years and was promoted to the role of warehouse manager in 2012 due to my advanced understanding of warehouse operations, my drive for continued professional development and my strong performance. I demonstrate proven abilities in the successful management of day to day warehouse operations including: logistics, stock control, the effective allocation of space and resources, long term strategic planning and supervising teams of warehouse personnel to ensure they are motivated to develop and to deliver high quality output. I am extremely results driven and as well as monitoring and delivering in line with KPIs and targets, I am also committed to continuous improvement. Since taking on the role of warehouse manager, I have successfully implemented barcode scanning; having worked collaboratively with IT managers in the States to research and source the best system for our needs. I also redesigned the layout of the warehouse and more than doubled the amount of locations. These improvements have delivered both greater accuracy and enhanced efficiency.
