About Roy Yu

I am a multilingual entrepreneur who is constantly looking to connect with likeminded individuals! As the President of International Elite Education Corporation, I am proud of our family-run company. Here at IEEC, we promote international education, cultural exchange, and youth mobility between North America, Europe, and Greater China for students of all ages and at all levels. At Festina Lente, a cultural brand owned and operated by IEEC, we offer curatorial services, art advisory, creative agency, and bespoke travel experiences. We aim to build bridges between worlds: East and West, past and present, art and life. We create experiences where culture and its beauty are not consumed — but felt, lived, exchanged, and remembered. In the academic realm, I am a PhD candidate at University of Vienna, and my research interests include (de-)Europeanisation of Member States' national foreign policy, as well as the external influence on EU foreign policy. When I'm not jet-setting for work, you’ll likely find me indulging in my two great loves: art and wine! And apart from my home in Vancouver, you'll often find me in Florence, Lisbon, Budapest, and London!
