About Royce Chwin

Royce joined the great team at Destination Vancouver as President and CEO in July 2020. Royce previously led Travel Alberta’s award winning Destination Development and Promotion team as CEO. Responsibilities include 9 markets worldwide comprised of Consumer, Travel Trade, Meetings, Convention and Incentive Travel, Global PR & Social Media and Global Marketing Services business units. Prior, as Executive Director, Global Brand Integration at the Canadian Tourism Commission, Canada’s national tourism marketing agency, Royce led the International brand and creative strategy and launched CTC’s social media communities. Another career highlight was bringing the “Canada. Keep Exploring” brand to life for millions of viewers of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games. Royce spent the previous 20 years in the retail and hospitality industries in management and leadership positions leading and executing many aspects of business strategy and operations. Organizations included Starbucks, Blockbuster Video and Boston Pizza International. Royce is a graduate of the Queens University Executive Development Program.
