Hello! I'm Roza, a senior studying Computer Science at USC Viterbi School of Engineering. With a passion for software engineering, I aim to become a successful Full-Stack Software Engineer and make my mark in the ever-evolving world of technology. As a CS student at USC, I've pursued knowledge and excellence, guided by exceptional professors and surrounded by a vibrant community. My rigorous curriculum has sharpened my technical skills and provided a solid foundation in software engineering. At USC, I collaborated with a team to develop an innovative movie app. As a full-stack developer, I played a key role in creating a comprehensive and user-friendly application. Our app features a powerful search engine, allowing users to discover movies based on various criteria. Detailed information, including cast details, plot summaries, ratings, and reviews, empowers users to make informed decisions.A notable feature of our app is the ability to create personalized movie watch lists, allowing users to curate collections for easy access and future reference. Users can compare movie lists, facilitating discussions and recommendations. We also added a creative touch by enabling users to create picture montages based on their movie lists.The app generates personalized suggestions based on user preferences. User account functionality provides a customized experience, allowing users to save preferences, sync data, and access personalized content across devices. Designed to be accessible across multiple platforms. Security measures, including encryption techniques, ensure the protection and privacy of user data. Meticulous attention to user interface design enhances the overall experience. Technically, we utilized HTML, JavaScript, and React for the client side, creating a dynamic and responsive UI. On the server side, we leveraged the SpringBoot(JAVA) framework for data processing and server functionalities. Our app is encapsulated within a Docker container, ensuring scalability and portability. The movie app represents the collective efforts of our full-stack development team. Through dedication, technical expertise, and attention to detail, we created a feature-rich, visually appealing, and user-friendly application catering to movie lovers on desktop and mobile devices. Beyond technology, I find joy in exploring hiking trails, embarking on adventures with friends, and creating delicious and healthy recipes. Balancing these hobbies with my academic pursuits maintains a well-rounded and fulfilling lifestyle.
