About Ruan Smit

I have completed my Bcom Management through University of Pretoria, as a student I had a number of part-time jobs namely a Level 1 Cricket Coach. I believe through these coaching session’s I have developed my interpersonal skills and understand the importance of transferring knowledge to others. Throughout my studies I realized the importance of customer service, marketing and operations to ensure the sustainability of an organization. I had the opportunity to intern at NewGroup who focus is in the retail industry, during this period I was responsible for sales and management of agents in the Gauteng area. This lead to a Regional Sales & Operations Management position where my responsibilities increased. I am currently managing my own sales and operations business where we assist small retail enterprises to promote the growth of their product sales in retail outlets.
