I am a mechanical engineer working as a global R&D project leader for a after treatment system with Daimler Trucks. This product is developed & adapted to local requirements jointly at several R&D centers around the globe and my current task is to coordinate, steer and align all the R&D actives. Beyond that I am fascinated by the possibilities that the application of artificial intelligence creates also in the automobile sector. To deepen my knowledge and to be able to work in this area in the future I just finished my AI Python nanodegree program with Udacity and will start with a master's course in artificial intelligence at "Hochschule Aalen" in part-time in September this year.
