About Ruby Dixon
I’m a BSc (Hons) graduate from Murdoch University. Currently I’m pursuing a PhD following on from my honours project which aimed to increase perpetrator identification in sexual assault cases using forensic analysis of the urogenital microbiome. I hold the office of President of the Medical, Molecular and Forensic Sciences Society at Murdoch University. I volunteer my time with St John as an Event Ambulance Officer as well as managing the bar of my local football club. Currently, I’m employed as a Medical Scientist in Toxicology with Australian Clinical Labs as well as a part-time academic in Forensic Science at Murdoch University.
