About Ruby Kohl
Early in 2019, I was employed full-time as a graphic designer. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, I was one of many open to a career change after experiencing redundancy in 2020. I gained employment in the Power Generation Industry in August 2020. Since then, I have discovered that safety-critical industries are highly rewarding and offer increased job security. I also made industry achievements such as a Leading Hand promotion during my 3rd contract with UGL and being awarded a HSSE Certificate. In October 2021, I transitioned into the Railway Industry. Now with 2+ years of railway experience in NSW and QLD, I am aspiring to continue my career development through a Locomotive Driver apprenticeship with Pacific National.
