Background
About Ruby Lapeyre
Ruby Lapeyre is an actor, director, puppeteer, teacher, and advocate currently located in Los Angeles. In recent years, she co-founded a theatre company located in Irvine called Metro Theatre Company that produces student-run shows. She graduated with a degree from UC Irvine in Music Theatre and Education. At UC Irvine, she became a "jack-of-all-trades"; she took classes in all facets and engaged with theatre on a holistic level to get the most out of her education. Ruby has spent years in theatre education for ages 5-18 and plans on pursuing performance and directing, all while advocating and pushing towards inclusion and exposure of the arts to a younger generation. Ruby looks to pursue creativity and learning in all facets of her life. Her goal in life is to create and care for others; she has no issue speaking her mind and will continue to push for justice. Ruby will be training in the medical field as well as performing and continuing her teaching. She plans on relocating to New York in January 2025. For more information, please visit ruby-lapeyre.com
