Tansi Nitotemtik! I am an educated, lived experienced and grassroots Plains Cree, Nehiyaw Iskwew, Treaty First Nations’ Indigenous Relations professional from Maskwacis, AB working in the infrastructure and business development industry. I work toward empowering and building our First Nations, Metis and Inuit communities with equitable and sustainable infrastructure. My professional experience is enriched by an extensive history of empowering Indigenous peoples and their communities via providing engineering services, construction, creating and implementing mentoring, outreach and training programs, employment services, advocacy, social policy, education via Indigenous Awareness training, promoting Indigenous business and economic development inclusion and best practices. My career has been reinforced by a strong and diverse post-secondary background and on-going commitment to practicing our Cree traditional ceremonies, lifelong learning, healing, professional and personal development. I have a strong and genuine commitment to collaboration, respect and building authentic and strength-based relationships. I am committed to meaningful engagement, building equality, with Indigenous partners and supporting inclusion and diversity in a growing organization. An innovative, First Nation’s thinker with effective presentation and strategic marketing skills. My unique experience of walking in two worlds, bridging the gaps, building trust, fostering sincere relationships and engaging Mainstream, First Nations, Metis and Inuit communities and businesses has been the foundation and success of my career.
