Background
About Ruby Ng
I am a physician, physical therapist, and board-certified biofeedback specialist dedicated to helping children and families restore health and well-being through an integrative, mind-body approach. With advanced clinical training (MD, MPT, MS, BCB-PMD), I specialize in treating complex pelvic floor dysfunction and psychosomatic disorders using evidence-based modalities such as biofeedback, therapeutic exercise, and behavioral retraining. At Stanford Children’s Health, I collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support pediatric patients experiencing challenges rooted in both physical and emotional stress. My work focuses on empowering young individuals and their families with practical tools to self-regulate, reduce pain, and improve function—whether the source is physiological, emotional, or a blend of both. I am deeply committed to patient advocacy, education, and expanding access to holistic and psychosomatic care, particularly in underserved communities. I also find joy in mentoring future professionals and advancing awareness around the intersection of mental and physical health.
