About Ruby Orth

My prior involvement in research, case management and inpatient psychiatric roles have synthesized to develop a focused passion for empirically backed therapeutic interventions with those suffering from serious mental illness. After working with adolescents and adults across sociocultural backgrounds I have become adept at establishing therapeutic alliances as well as detail-oriented documentation to address barriers and growth in treatment. Training in trauma-informed care, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and dialectical behavior therapy has allowed for dialogue that has resulted in broader understanding of clients and has encouraged progress in varied programming. I am a member of the Eastern Psychological Associate, Psi Chi, the psychological honor society, and am extremely passionate about my future in the field.
