Dr. Rucha Kelkar, BAMS, AD, PT, DPT is the Founder-Director of Ayurbliss- Ayurveda, Physical Therapy and Yoga Integrative Wellness Dr. Kelkar is an accomplished and internationally renowned Ayurveda practitioner, clinician, educator, researcher, speaker and writer with an experience of over 20 years. She received her Doctor of Ayurveda degree from the University of Pune, India and Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from The College of St. Scholastica, MN. She holds certifications in Yoga and Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy. At her Ayurbliss Wellness Center, she provides Ayurveda Consultations (in person and online), Ayurveda therapies and Panchakarma and also integrates the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda and Yoga with the rehabilitative knowledge of physical therapy. She specializes in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. She also conducts various Ayurveda workshops and teaching programs online and at her center. Ayurbliss- Ayurveda Wellness with Herbs, her own line of Ayurvedic products has also been one of her entrepreneurial pursuits. Dr. Kelkar serves as a Chair of Mount Madonna Institute- College of Ayurveda. She is a faculty for leading Ayurveda schools. She is revered by her students for her depth of knowledge, interactive teaching skills and is loved for being easily approachable. She is a highly sought Supervisor for Clinical Externships. Dr. Kelkar has mentored students of Stanford Medical School for their Integrative Medicine Clerkship and has taught Medical and Pharmacy students at UCSF. She was also invited to speak at the Kaiser Permanente Grand Rounds. Apart from being a published author and involved in past research at UCSF, she is a Research Advisor to students at the Mount Madonna Institute. Dr. Kelkar has been a presenter at various National Ayurveda Conferences on multiple occasions over the past twenty years. She is a recipient of the Ayurveda Vachaspati (Expert) Award. Dr Kelkar was instrumental in pioneering, the much acclaimed Grand Rounds at NAMA. NAMA welcomed Dr. Kelkar as one of the Board of Directors last year. Dr Kelkar is an eminent Ambassador of Ayurveda, teaching, practicing, supporting and promoting Ayurveda.
