About Rucha Valimbe

I am an Architectural Assistant who graduated with a Distinction from the Manchester School of Architecture. I have successfully contributed to the concept design and delivery of several high-profile projects in the Middle East during my Part 1 Year-Out experience. My expertise spans both early design stages and RIBA Stage 3 onwards, with a strong technical focus. I display versatility, initiative, and adaptability in performing tasks. I am passionate about computational and sustainable architecture, and have developed proficiency in software like Autocad, Autodesk Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, as well as 3d modelling tools like Rhino and Grasshopper, and visualisation software like Lumion, Unity and Twinmotion. Having been a RIBA Student Mentee and a former Student Representative at MSA, I have demonstrated my commitment to learning and professional development. I’m currently undertaking a RIBA Part 3 course and am set to qualify in June, and I am excited to continue growing my expertise in architecture.
