About Rudd Orr

As a 7th generation native of Western North Carolina, Rudd was born and raised in the South Mills River valley and has extensive roots and local knowledge of Hendersonville, Mills River, Brevard & the surrounding mountain areas. Rudd is a graduate of Clemson University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Mechanization and Business with a Minor in Crop and Soil Environmental Sciences. During his four years in Tiger Town, he also met his beautiful wife, Margaret. The two of them enjoy spending their Saturdays cheering on the Clemson Tigers and spending time in the backyard with their goldendoodle, Fern. Rudd is also a second-generation North Carolina licensed General Contractor with local award-winning B-K Construction Company, where he and his father specialize in custom homes, major renovations, and small-scale commercial projects. Additionally, he is a North Carolina level II Onsite Wastewater Contractor. Because of his background, Rudd can provide detailed answers to any questions you may have for the purchase of your dream home. He can also provide expert advice and guidance regarding any land investment purchases, whether it is a single lot or a large tract of raw land. Rudd strives to exceed expectations and provide honest feedback when serving his clients in both real estate and construction. Aside from real estate and construction, Rudd volunteers with multiple local organizations like Mills River Fire and Rescue, to protect and preserve the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains that he and his family calls home. He is also an avid sportsman who enjoys exploring and utilizing all Western North Carolina’s natural resources and wildlife management.
