Background
About Ruddy Risueno
I consider myself as a highly capable Electrical Engineer with the required skills and knowledge for any job. More than five years ago I graduated from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico with an excellent GPA and with the “Magna Cum Laude” distinction. As of today I have worked with various companies related with the electricity field, as I also have studies as an Electrician. I completed the Electrician course by 2011 and have worked since then with E.M. Electrical Power as an Electrical Generator Technician and as a Photovoltaic System Installer for the company “Solaora”. I currently work for Accuray, which is a company that develops, manufactures and sells radiotherapy systems for alternative cancer treatments. Our radiation therapy for cancer makes treatment shorter, safer, personalized and more effective, ultimately enabling patients to live longer, better lives. I am a fast learner and a good leader. I have worked in team in order to finish complicated tasks on time, I have learned that the best way to deal with a big problem is to divide it into small problems and by solving each small problem individually, the big problem gets solved. I consider myself a problem solver and I am willing to offer my problem solving skills. I am also a good follower/helper and I know to follow orders. As a worker I have always loved the field experience and have always dealt with real problems, and by real I mean not only theoretical, but the application. I used to troubleshoot and fix generators that wouldn’t start, control panels that would not send or receive signals, etc. I have the knowledge of how to use the “multimeter” and oscilloscope, amongst many other manual tools that may be required to be used in an electrical system troubleshooting. As a student I had the opportunity to work with programming, controls, power and electronics. For my capstone design course project my team and I built an automatic aquaponic system by using the Arduino microcontroller as the control platform with Arduino’s programming language. The system was composed of sensors to monitor water quality and parameters, it also corrected the system’s variables in order to keep an equilibrium. During my current job experience with Accuray, I have been able to learn the operating principles of their equipment. I am currently trained on all of their products and have participated on the ClearRT project, traveled to Switzerland to train/help the European Team. I am always willing to travel and help the company's growth by sharing my knowledge.
