About Rudine Wright

As a committed, dedicated educator and mentor I have devoted myself to enriching the lives of the children, parents and members within and outside of my community. The utilization of my educational background and expertise in education necessary for the development and growth of the uplift of others I enter the academic forum with the educational tools necessary for academic achievement by helping the students and community to see their life’s purpose, gifts and talents from within. As lead teacher of the Apollo Oral History Program for elementary school students over a number of years, for building writing skills and learning of history through elders within their community provided students with the opportunity to develop their knowledge and experience through the Apollo Oral History Program. As cofounder of the 501c3 WEST: Women of Excellence Strength and Tenacity mentorship program young girls were provided with the opportunity to learn and grow their own life skills and talents through book clubs, journaling, etiquette classes, self care, healthy living habits and more. While also being acting coach for Girls on the Run, affording young girls access to education through building relationships and training for their respective activities around health and wellness for life.
