Always bringing a positive attitude and the drive to improve safety culture allows me to meet daily production goals safely. I am an energetic safety professional that is passionate about the personal safety of my team and their families. Training and educating staff to grow the necessary skills and awareness needed to prevent incidents or accidents from occurring is a consistent challenge that I embrace. My goal is to find an organization that will allow me to utilize my knowledge, skills and abilities to enhance the safety culture and overall safety awareness. My enthusiasm and willingness to do whatever is necessary aids in the improvement of the safety culture, by both teaching and learning from associates. I have fifteen (15) years of experience in manufacturing settings and hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH). The OSH program has allowed me to gain the knowledge and experience about the EHS function, which includes the compliance of OSHA standards, regulations, hazard recognition, and incident investigations. I am a team player, fast learner and always willing to support and provide guidance to fellow employees. I am a strong motivator with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Every day is a new challenge and as my career develops, I look forward to my future in the safety industry.
