As the current Director of Learning and Improvement at Kennesaw State University, I lead the Division of Student Affairs' comprehensive assessment plan, focusing on fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making. Reporting directly to the Vice President for Student Affairs, I collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to strategize and implement evidence-based practices that enhance student engagement and success.My role at Kennesaw State University involves overseeing key performance metrics, developing assessment methodologies, and leading projects that assess student needs, learning, and progression. By coordinating data collection, analysis, and reporting, I provide critical insights that drive the division’s strategic goals. Additionally, I supervise a full-time staff member and provide training on data analysis and visualization, ensuring that our team is equipped to support and advance student success.Previously, I served as the Director of Co-curricular Assessment at Georgia Gwinnett College, where I developed robust planning and evaluation cycles, managed large-scale assessment projects, and contributed to institutional leadership initiatives. My experience also includes serving as Assistant Dean of Strategic Initiatives and Assessment at Vanderbilt University, where I was responsible for aligning divisional efforts with institutional goals and enhancing program effectiveness across various departments.I am passionate about leveraging data to inform decisions and committed to advancing institutional effectiveness through innovative assessment practices.
