About Rufus Hood

I am General Manager at Coople UK. I am responsible for the end to end customer journey at Coople, and delivering growth and a great experience for customers. My remit includes Sales, Account Management and Operations. In this role I am leading our growth strategy for the UK and ensuring the business is set up to deliver that, collaborating with Marketing, Customer Success and Product to achieve this. Previously I was Commercial Director at Zencargo. I owned our profitability metrics and margin strategy. Reporting to both founders (CEO and CCO), I work alongside the rest of the Senior Leadership Team to ensure our pricing structure, commercial approach and internal processes drive progress in our Gross Margin and EBITDA. At Zencargo I also held roles in Strategy, Account Management and Operations roles. I helped lead our growth from Series A through to profitability. Before joining Zencargo I worked as a digital and transformation consultant at Newton working across FMCG, Healthcare, Defence and Infrastructure sectors.
