About Rui Silva

Rui is one of the founders of BMS-Audit, leading audit projects and accounting and financial consulting. Rui is also EY's Assurance External Contractor, leading and performing projects in Portugal and PALOP, specially in Oil & Gas sector. Rui started his career in 2004 in accounting area, having joined EY in 2007, where he focused his career path in the area of auditing and consulting, on a course of approximately 12 years, where he reached the position of Senior-Manager. Rui executed, coordinated and led different projects in audits and financial consultancies in clients operating in Portugal, Angola. At the same time has the responsibility and specific functions of service coordination and project management in the Oil & Gas area in the PALOP market, leading Cost Recovery Audits. The experience of financial consulting projects is vast and encompassed project management in large national and international groups and by the several sectors. He was responsible for auditing clients of large national and international groups (including listed entities and other Public Interest Entities). He is an Statutory Auditor (“ROC”), registered in Portuguese Securities Market Commission, and Certified Accountant (“CC”) in Portugal. As an Auditor and a Consultant he had experience in several sectors such as Oil & Gas, Technology, Retail, industry, Services Supply, Telecommunication, Transportation, Hospitality and Real State, Automotive and Non Profit Organizations.
