About Ruiting Zhang

Lead designer with 10+ years' experience in spatial narratives, with a strong focus on content interpretation and translating information into impactful environments. My scope of work covers concept to completion in diverse themes for museums, cultural institutions, and commercial clients. I consider myself a generalist with passions in art, science, and culture; and a specialist in synthesising these fields into experiential storytelling. My upbringing and education background has allowed me to understand the importance of connecting cultures and ideas. I believe the aim of good design is to spark curiosity and encourage dialogue between humans and the environment; thus my core focus is on the experience of the user while maintaining a strong sensitivity in conveying culture, brand identity, and legacy. I'm always ready to take on a good number of customer-facing responsibilities: including discovery, strategic consultation and concept development. My next step aims to enhance my skills in curating human-centred solutions beyond the borders of physical space: to curate hybrid environments and experiences that are innovative, inspirational, and inclusive.
