I joined Ph.D. at UiO in 2014 and started working on Internet measurement where I developed and set up a measurement platform called fling (fling: A middlebox measurement platform (https://fling-frontend.nntb.no/) for detecting and analyzing the middleboxes in the Internet. Most of my work deals with large-scale Internet-wide measurements. I work on certain aspects of network security. During my master degree, I worked in the transport layer in the TCP/IP stack. At the same time, I worked as a network administrator for setting up the institute network. And I got hands-on-experience about networking—services, and uses of all the layers of the network stack. During the end of my master degree, I implemented functions inside the Linux kernel (related to TCP). After my degree, I joined as a senior researcher at the same place and worked on cloudstack and worked with SDN tools. Overall, My experience covers mostly networking and infrastructure, automation, network measurement, and security.
