About Runa Rajeev Kumar

Having around 22 years of working experience, my professional journey ranges from being an anchor, a radio jockey with All India Radio, Senior Business Correspondent in the leading English business daily, The Economic Times to an integrated communications professional. In the last 14 years of my career with Tata Steel, I have managed media and have worked on major campaigns related to Quality, Safety, Employee Engagement, Ethics and Sustainability and have majorly contributed to reinforcing the corporate brand reputation and positioning Tata Steel as a tech-enabled, innovation driven and sustainable engineering enterprise with high degree of agility. I immensely contributed towards Tata Steel winning the coveted Deming Grand Prize in 2012. While working on TQM promotion and communication, I learnt about the Toyota`s A3 thinking approach from the Japanese consultants which I have imbibed and have been using extensively in developing communication models to mitigate crisis situations. I was nominated for the Tata Group eMerging Leadership Programme at Tata Management Training Institute, Pune in the year 2019. Currently, I am in a leadership role and spearheading strategic communication in Tata Steel.
