About Runako Taylor

Runako's professional experience is founded in a modern British public school setting, where holistic approaches to education are modeled. Focus on transitional stages was key to providing the necessary support as young people move into adulthood while striving to maintain academic rigor and success. His professional goal is to trial and experience various teaching philosophies in order to find and tailor curricula specific to the needs of any community and environment. Runako thinks that this would help empower communities by giving them a say in their own educational needs and agendas and prepare their young people to be model citizens who are equipped with the skills needed to interact with or transition to other cultures and societies in an ever connected world. Runako remains committed to professional development either through workshops, networking or academia with the express goal of enhancing the teaching, learning and experiences in his classroom. He is currently exploring opportunities in leadership roles. Specialties: Classical Languages -Latin/Greek, History and Literature; Teaching and Education (ages 5-17) w/ specialty working with Transition Ages [Key Stage 3, UK & Middle School/Junior HS, USA]; Education Administration (Elementary -University)-particularly with early curriculum and literacy, facilitating meetings on curriculum.
