About Ruodong Pan

Pan has over 10 years of design and 5 years of project management experience in a range of infrastructure construction projects. Pan has the necessary skills to undertake the design for projects including bridges for both rail and road infrastructure, and civil works. Pan has recent and relevant experience with RMS, TMR, MRWA, RailCorp, ARTC, NZTA and KiwiRail bridge designs, procedures and standards through his responsibilities for inspection and assessment, design, proof engineering and independent verification to the standards. Pan’s design experience includes: Small to medium-span bridge designs and assessments (materials include prestressed concrete (both pre and post tensioning), steel, wrought iron, masonry and timber), design of retaining structures (contiguous pile walls, cantilever walls in concrete and masonry), underground train stations, tunnels, and bracing system for deep excavation. Some of his bridge projects have been qualified as RMS defined complex bridges. He has supervised many junior engineers and drafting teams, which respect him highly for his ability to grasp concepts quickly and provide detailed designs that are simple yet involves complex analyses.
