I am a rising senior at Boston University, pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Computer Engineering and a concentration in machine learning. I currently work in the Chand Lab on the BU Medical Campus as an undergraduate research assistant and serve as a data science intern at Coalesenz Inc. From my experiences, I have developed a passion for integrating machine learning techniques within research for neuroscience and the development of medical devices. My work in the Chand Lab has involved applying machine learning algorithms to analyze complex neurological data, aiming to uncover patterns that can lead to significant advancements in understanding brain function and neurological disorders. At Coalesenz Inc, I focus on leveraging data science to solve real-world problems, enhancing my skills in data analysis, model development, and deployment of machine learning systems. This role has allowed me to work on projects that translate theoretical knowledge into practical applications, especially in the realm of healthcare. Moving forward, I aspire to pursue a career in the development of medical devices and the integration of machine learning systems. I am particularly interested in creating innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes and advance the field of personalized medicine. My goal is to be at the forefront of technological advancements that bridge the gap between engineering and medicine, ultimately contributing to the development of smarter, more effective medical technologies.
