Contrary to my creative professionalism, I describe myself as a ‘soldier’ – one with morals and ethics, obsessed about my work… serious about my conquests & defeats. My Journey (or my decisions) though full of twists & turns, has made me the person I am.(So here’s my short story. Here goes…) After college, like most people I too ventured into the next best opportunity I could find that gave me a sense of respect for my work and gave me the bucks as well. Except that, for others it was an internship to get to where they wanted to be later & for me, it was the family business. Deep in my heart it was not the family business, but an interest in design and special relations that governed my soul. This I knew… And as soon as the opportunity arose I fled to feed my dream and create the skills by learning design for months. I worked in exchange for nothing. And like a sponge I absorbed everything & every little knowledge in sight. As a go-getter and positive by nature, I focused …and I believed that I could do better if I started walking upon a path of my own. I started with WIZFX. Running my own company wasn’t the equivalent of what I would call ‘glory days’… but I did feel a wonderful sense of fulfillment and worked strategically and resourcefully day and night. In the midst of all the confusion and ordeal, was born an opportunity called Vijas Graphics! Formally I would like to introduce myself as an all-round… ‘ADVERTISING PROFESSIONAL’ complete with the marketing know-how and handling of financial obligations as well.
