I'm veteran, took retirement after 21 years of active service in Indian Army and held the rank of a Colonel for more than 7 years. Have done various levels of senior management courses and planned strategies at macro level. I'm at home in the insurance industry because it’s versatile and as a veteran; challenges make me perform exceedingly well. I'm responsible for strategic growth, operational plans, succession, managing mid and senior level managers, developing sales strategies, expansion plans, M&A, budgeting, and grooming managers for future roles. Have handled commercial division including transportation, captive and OMC contracts with Lloyds. Spearheaded my brokerage to win excellence award for continuous five years (2018-2022) in a row as Best Brokerage at Insurance Business Awards, Canada. Winner of Insurance Broker of the Year 2019 Award! Besides insurance, I'm actively involved in community service and have been team leader with Canadian Cancer Society and have been regular member of Air League of Canada. Served as Director, Peel Crime Stoppers and board member with WAY(Women and Youth empowerment) center, SAPA ( South Asian Professional Association), SARA ( South Asian Retail Association). I'm an influencer on social media and a Radio & TV host.
