About Russ Evans

My Bachelors Degree was with a focus on fine art. After college I found employment doing silkscreen engraving for a garment manufacturer. I prepared art and engraved nickel silver rotary silk screens. At Wilson Sporting Goods I took that basic knowledge used in silk screen printing and, in cooperation with the engineering staff, helped to improve the quality and efficiency of Wilson's pad printing operation. I also did illustration work for company publications and design works for the different problem solving teams at the golf ball plant. Currently I am doing design work on a variety projects from brochures, posters, special promotional items to T-shirt design. My current position gives me the opportunity to integrate all of the skills I have acquired through the years and to combine them with my fine art knowledge and abilities. I also make sure the Macs are running well, troubleshoot problems as they arise, as well as give software and composition advise to my colleagues when asked.
