After a couple years as a metal fabricator(1984-1986), I spent 15 years at Steelcase (1986-2001) in various manufacturing positions. From there I went to Southern Lithoplate in 2003 as a line operator / maintenance technician. Primary responsibilities included troubleshooting and repair of production equipment and facilities. On call 24/7 to respond to any equipment problems that hinder production. Also do some design and fabrication of new equipment and/or modification of existing equipment. I work with a small team that works on continuous process improvement.
