About Russell Oconnor

I take pride in my humanistic and emotionally intelligent approach to business and relationship building. In my current role I am running the HR department for a medium sized national company (circa 150 employees). I am responsible for end-to-end HR function and also act as a trusted advisor on operations strategy due to my background in lean opeartions (six sigma black belt). Stylistically I achieve success by combining excellent structure with great culture. I believe in surrounding myself with strong partners and supporting their growth and ambitions. I am mission driven and have a proven record of success across departments, industries and companies. I also have a keen interest in technology and have strong technical skills be it in HRIS management, data analytics (SQL) or CRM software. Outside of work I am a keen organic horticulturist, I am an amateur author and a proud and active father and husband.
