Accomplished leader with over ten years of experience managing complex transportation infrastructure projects for the Florida Department of Transportation. Oversaw a $16 billion portfolio of road construction initiatives across the entire State of Florida and all seven FDOT districts. Primary objectives include- Increasing DBE participation and contract awards by forging connections between prime contractors and qualified diverse businesses. Provided hands-on support to prime contractors bidding on or engaged in priority FDOT projects as a liaison to facilitate partnerships- Deliver specialized assistance to prime contractors with historically low DBE involvement to improve outreach and contracting- Identify and promote technology training, software, and applications to bolster DBE technical skills, expertise, and bid proposal quality- Conduct comprehensive DBE capacity assessments to evaluate readiness for FDOT and prime contractor partnerships- Make technical assistance referrals to qualified providers to further develop DBE capabilities and aptitude for FDOT and prime contract work.
