Responsible for business development, writing scopes of work, budgeting, and managing projects, including projects for threatened or endangered species compliance, native plant surveys, Clean Water Act Section 404 compliance, and categorical exclusions and environmental assessments for NEPA compliance. Responsible for directing field personnel conducting surveys for special-interest species, for biological evaluations and assessments, for jurisdictional waters and wetlands delineations suitable for submission to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for Section 404 permits, and for environmental resource reports for NEPA compliance for BLM, USFWS, BIA, Park Service and FERC federal agencies. Responsible for producing written reports regarding the findings of surveys, biological evaluations and assessments, CWA delineations and Section 404 permit applications, and environmental resources reports and environmental assessments. Also responsible for conducting and directing personnel performing native plant inventories and for developing native plant preservation plans for development plans submittals as required by city and county ordinances as part of Certified Arborist duties.Specialties: Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, National Environmental Policy Act and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission compliance.
