About Rustom Avari

I've been fortunate & privileged throughout my flying career to operate all over the world in complex airspace, through adverse conditions, in modern aircraft, alongside a group of culturally diverse and wonderfully talented people. Looking back through my career, whether as an aviation instructor, someone who’s run their own business, or in the flight deck, I’ve always managed to place my skills into any environment I find myself. I always rise up to new challenges that help me to build on my platform of experience and knowledge gained so far. Threat and error management, acute situational awareness, clear communication & solid leadership are the foundations I lay before every flight, which have always helped me to manage & mitigate risk at all times. Alongside these operational cornerstones, I pride myself on delivering great customer service with a professional, courteous and friendly demeanour. I firmly believe all of these attributes have helped me to gain enormous mutual trust and respect over the years with all my colleagues whether it’s been in the flight deck, the simulator, or anywhere we find ourselves in the world. I'm excited for the future - there is still so much more to learn.
