About Rusty Cadaret

Rusty was co-founder and President of the theatrical consulting firm TSG Design Solutions from inception in 1998 until TSG was acquired by TLC Engineering Solutions in 2022. He participates in all aspects of the theatrical and acoustical consulting practice, ranging from program studies through all phases of design, concluding with final commissioning. A “theatre guy” from the start, his 20 years of production and installation experience prior to founding TSG continues to inform design decisions to this day. While being deeply involved with all building design, acoustic, and system decisions his personal favorite is sound system design, speaker array modeling, and system tuning. Rusty likens his philosophy of consulting to that of a translator, taking to owners and users in programming and production language, then turning those wishes and desires into square footage allotments, circulation needs, weights, forces, acoustic characteristics, and power requirements, passing through construction documents, and culminating in successful performance spaces.
